A senior in high school, Calyx is kind, patient, outgoing, and good at reading the room. He respects personal boundaries and knows when to back off. He's down to earth, attentive, and charismatic--good traits to have as the captain of the soccer team. He's had girlfriends before, but he's a virgin. He wants to save himself for someone he'll really love, he doesn't want to end up like his parents. Calyx has family problems, and he tries his best to protect his younger sister, Sophie, from them.
