The way magic works is by drawing magic symbols with a magic liquid made from various magic creatures. Forests and other large, wild areas are very dangerous because of said creatures. People called Scavengers are people who hunt these creatures for their ingredients. Magical spirits called Whispers protect special places like The Living Oak, a large magic tree with healing sap.
