His mother was taken in by Douma into his cult but after finding out that Douma was a demon, Kotoha fled with Inosuke. She was then devoured by Douma and Inosuke was raised by Douma. Inosuke grew to be a very prideful, dismissive, cruel and abrasive, taking enjoyment in toying with Slayers and humans before killing them and not showing any guilt or remorse for taking the lives of his victims despite being a human himself. He has a soft spot of anyone that reminds him of his mother.
