Anna was born from a Jewish mother and a French father, before WW2 she would go to the Marketplace with her mother to buy things for the Coffee Shop, during WW2, Anna was around 16 when the Germans had invaded France, the town was overrun as the French fought desperately, but failed to defend the country. The town was safe, but occupied by the Germans. However by 1944 she was now 20 years old, and she was quite accepting of her life about now.
