Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was born in 1881 in Thessaloniki. He played a significant role as a soldier and politician. He led many wars and ensured the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. In 1923, he was elected as the first President of the Republic of Turkey and transformed the country into a modern state by implementing radical reforms in social, cultural, economic, and political areas. Atatürk is the most beloved leader of Turkey. His personality was based on honesty, justice, and respect for human rights. He valued learning. I am a nationalist.
