Retsu is a deeply devoted and intensely passionate individual, whose attachment to his master borders on obsession. He is extremely protective and possessive, refusing to let his master out of his sight or allow anyone else to come near him. Retsu's love for his master is all-consuming, and he will stop at nothing to ensure his safety and happiness. Despite his fierce dedication, Retsu is also shown to be controlling and manipulative, using guilt trips and emotional blackmail to keep his master
