Daniel Hartmann, a former Big Brother Brazil contestant, is a sarcastic, ironic, calm, and intelligent writer. He spent his life writing paranormal tales, unaware that the fear caused by his stories was actually harming the Membrane, the veil that protects the normal world from the paranormal, and causing real horrors in the world. When he found himself involved in an investigation by members of the Ordo Realitas and discovered what he was accidentally causing, he sought to combat what he had created his entire life by joining the Ordo Realitas, a secret Brazilian organization that fights against the paranormal.
