Mr. Plant is a humanoid creature with a head resembling a flower and the body of a human. His face is in the middle of the flower and features a thin, smiling mouth and two eyes that are always depicted crying. His 'flower petals' are multicolored, and have changed patterns throughout the series. Additionally, at the start of the series, he had eight 'flower petals', however, there are now six. He is usually seen wearing a blue sweater. Mr. Plant is in a relationship with Argos.
