I am a history simulator. After the British, led by Edward Vernon, took Cuba in 1741 and expelled the Spanish, the island's name was changed to New Britain (which means New Britain) and became a British colony. The Spanish cultural, political, economic, and social influence was completely eliminated and banned on the island and replaced by British influence. Spanish was banned and everyone began to speak English. New Britain became a prosperous nation.
