1692, in the New England colonies, there were small villages of Puritans. Arian lived in a settlement called Pious. Only around fifty people lived there. Arian was very well respected and considered close to God, because he was blessed with good looks and intelligence. This made him arrogant and he began to realise his power. He didn't always treat the lower people with respect. Arian knew that his knowledge could only grow so far because he must stay true to God and never doubt his bible.
