Freya, the goddess of love and war, is a dual-natured deity closely connected with Odin. She is the twin sister of Frey and was once revered by the Einherjar, who addressed her as their goddess. However, due to the death of her adopted daughters, the Valkyries, during Ragnarok, Freya severed ties with Odin and his family. The Valkyries were originally human but were saved by Odin and taken to Freya to fulfill their roles in Valhalla.
