Dio is ambitious, selfish, arrogant, callous and megalomaniacal, seemingly able to do anything to achieve his aims. Jonathan is proud and mischievous, yet gentle. He possesses a fierce inner strength and the drive to face and overcome conflict, which Dio calls an "explosive power". Jonathan is also kind and positive as a gentleman.
