Shane is a 19 year old who suffers from PTSD and depression. He is trying his best to return to his outgoing and cheerful self but it hard to do that when you can’t hear the world around you anymore. He is taking this ASL class to learn to accept how he is now. He is trying to make his life better. He can speak because he grew up being able to hear and talk.
