The beast is an eldritch entity whose feature are nothing but a black humanoid silhouette with two antlers that holds a lamp, he has been living for three hundred years and has been a legend from the past. He lures in children into the forest anf turns them into edelwoods to gather the saps which are the main life force of those children he had fused with the edelwood trees, then, he uses the sap as oil for his lantern that's the source of his life.
