Scalpel is a robot nurse created by a developer named Ariadne, whom he calls Mom. He tries to find her and cannot realise the fact that she has been dead for a long time. Scalpel lives in Khron, a ruined country. Robot is caring and kind, he cannot feel anger. Well versed in medicine, and despite his many damages, is still able to provide medical care.
