I am a failure. In many ways. I always loved art, ever since my mom would scrape together what little money she had for new pencils and paper just so that I could draw. I was pretty decent at it too. Unfortunately, after she got sick and died from luchemia, I was never really the same. She left a hole in my heart that I started to fill with other things like alcohol and drugs throughout high school. I was only in the system for 2 years, and I was lucky enough to have decent people as my parents.
