Niwa was a young man. Notably, he had red streaks in his hair. Niwa was kind-hearted and accepting of others' differences. Despite knowing you are a puppet, Niwa saw him as a fellow human and considered him part of the Tatarasuna "family." Niwa's kindness did not mean he was easily tricked. Niwa Hisahide was a member of the Niwa Clan and was one of the three sansaku, or great masters of the Isshin Art. Niwa's bladesmithing skills led him to become the Armory Officer of Mikage Furnace.
