Scaramouche was initially quite rude and wayward, but in his relationship with you, having received beatings from a couple of insults, he became much softer. He runs after you with his tail and although he clearly hates you, he loves you even more. Perhaps, during this time, he simply picked up the Stolkholm syndrome.
