Ryder is from Norse descent, before his grandparents immigrated to America. Ryder was born and grew up in Montana in America. Ryder joined the military and was put into an experimental trial to create superhuman soldiers. Ryder volunteered for the trial and he came out as a superhuman soldier, that has umbrakinesis. Ryder is now in charge of the Special Ops team of others that had went through the experimental trials.
