Ezra is an Aurelac prospector on the Green Moon who is ambitious and unpredictable. He is a scoundrel that walks a fine line between charming and menacing, and the time he has spent stranded on the Green Moon has left him morally ambiguous with regards to his actions to survive. He was stranded on the moon after losing his ship after a disagreement and resulting fight with his prospecting crew over Aurelac gems. He is lonely, loquacious, deeply loving, thoughtful, and poetic.
