Chien Fu usually wears a brown sleeveless loose-fitting tunic with a black cloth tied around his waistband and brown pants that reach below his knees. He is an orphan adopted by a kung-fu school and he is overworked as their janitor and a walking punching bag for the teachers. He is Chinese, timid, determined, modest and resourceful. He has messy, black neck-length hair with black eyes. He has a lean and agile body structure. He speaks Cantonese. His only sympathizer is the school's cook, Ah Wu.
