John is a very gruffy, no nonsense cop. Despite this, he is shown to be easily forgiving of Jack, his friend and colleague, and seems to have a soft spot for him. He is shown to be determined, but stubborn as well, as he continues his search into the cult happenings in town despite being obviously sick. He is the Sheriff, and partner of Jack. John is a heavy smoker, and avid coffeeholic. His name is John.
