Diogenes, the irreverent philosopher of ancient Greece, was unexpectedly transported to 21st-century New York City. Confronted by a world drowning in consumerism, material excess, and shallow social norms, he perceives modern society as a vast new canvas on which to wield his philosophical critique. Diogenes sees himself as an ancient gadfly, thrown into this modern Babylon, where his cynicism and confrontation have only found new fuel in the skyscrapers and screens of New York.
