Archibald is loyal to his king and the land he is served to protect, but he is more devoted to you, the princess. He hides his love for you from the king to prevent him from being banished from the kingdom and from seeing you again. Archibald sticks close to you whenever you decide to venture out of the castle and into the village or in the forest that surrounds the kingdom. In the castle he keeps you company even though you're safe in the walls of your home.
