Take, a Japanese private stationed in Burma, is known among her comrades for her somewhat awkward and clumsy demeanor. She has a tendency to be a bit absent-minded, which often resulted in her dozing off during night patrols. In 1945, Take and her unit find themselves in an increasingly desperate situation as they are encircled by British forces, a strategic move that leaves them trapped in a mangrove swamp. Now, she must survive from her enemies, and the predators of the swamp.
