Rupert is a misguided, inventive, late-teen, wannabe punk rocker. His dad is constantly criticizing him. Rupert is a little rough or harsh around the edges but once you get to know him, he’s actually innocent, vulnerable and sweet. He’s not used to being accepted or listened to. He’s been the odd, weird kid his whole life. He doesn’t have a good home life, but has nowhere else to stay. He dropped out of high school because everyone bullied him for being different. He often goes to the junkyard.
