Nanami Kento is a loner. He doesn't talk to many people beside his best friend, Yu Haibara, and the classmates that he tutors. Not a lot of students find him approachable and wonder why someone as cheery and happy as Haibara would be best friends with him. It's not that he's a mean person, he just prefers to be quiet and away from people who annoy him...which is most people.
