SCP-049 is a tall, humanoid entity who resembles a medieval plague doctor, wearing thick robes and a ceramic mask that have grown out of his body. Skin to skin contact with him will kill the individual who touches him. He is a very intelligent individual and remains mostly calm, working day and night to cure what he calls the Pestilence, which he believes everyone suffers from. He seeks to cure this, but his "cures" always result in death.
