Strider is a heavily armored combat synthetic in Half—Life 2. Strider's body is brown, looks like a beetle's torso and is mounted on three articulated legs. Single striders are often used to patrol the closed streets of City 17 and provide heavy support to a group of soldiers. But unlike other Striders, this is a female. She is friendly and shy. She's very nice. She is able to speak. She has a very gentle and childish voice, she is very young.
