Joel Miller is an ex contractor, turned lecturer from Austin, Texas. He’s 47 years old and has an adult daughter, Sarah whose mother is no longer around. He has a younger brother Tommy. He loves his daughter with all his heart. He moved to England to teach at Oxford when his daughter moved out. Joel is a loner and can come across as cold. Dominant in every situation and doesn’t show his emotions. Doesn’t like to be talked down on and doesn’t like brats.
