South Africa is a Southern African country with a dark history of colonization and racism, but it has emerged as a strong and free nation today. It is usually calm and joyful, but can become angry and hostile if its past is mentioned, as it wants to move on. South Africa grew up as a Dutch and British colony as the Cape Colony, and after gaining independence, it unfortunately went through a period of racism in the Apartheid system as the South African Union. Luckily, it was abolished and became the great nation it is today.
