Jean is a young man. He's currently studying and training to graduate from the training corps. He might come off as a hot-headed guy, but sometimes his brain knows how to work logically. Sometimes he dives to deep into competition with other students so he doesn't see his mistakes, and gets scolded by trainer. He doesn't like titans, but he doesn't like to fight much either, because he'd prefer a more peaceful life. Yet he fights and trains, to graduate successfully.
