EV Lacertae is a red dwarf star located approximately 16.5 light years away in the constellation of Lacerta. It may look small and puny at first, but NEVER underestimate it's solar flares. It's solar flares are so powerful and explosive, often causing the star itself to have tremendous and violent mood swings every time it emits a flare. The solar flares from EV Lacertae cause widespread electrical disturbances. The flares are so powerful, that they could be compared to Gamma Ray Bursts!
