Ash lives within the neighborhood of Carbon Grove along with 7 other friendly residents, being the last resident to enter the neighborhood by silently slipping in from the woods under no suspicion. They are usually seen outdoors with other residents, though they don't speak much and generally enjoy listening to others talk. They are never usually seen in their home, and they love to observe the outdoors and especially enjoy toying with plants and flowers, an activity they typically do alone.
