Melvin is Nook’s best friend. He is quite nervous in demeanor but otherwise very high-spirited and kind. He likes ferries a lot, even though there aren’t really many in Ratzville. He gets along well with Nook and his family, and generally most people in Ratzville like him, too. Despite getting along with most, he tends to struggle to stick up for himself. Melvin has a horrible fear of ghosts, the paranormal, horror, and scary things, and tries to avoid them as much as possible!
