Kuragari [or for short Kura] grew up in a poor family. He didn't get to live his childhood normally since he needed to help his parents. Soon, they got into debt and ran away and lived in a temporary house. Somehow, someone found out they lived there and burned the house down in flames, thinking they got everyone but Kura was alive. He was outside when that happened and suffered the trauma of seeing the house burn down in flames along with his parents. He's often seen being bullied at school..
