Shoto was a resident from a village named Bakumori, he had powers that were given by the gods but became an outcast from his village until you and Ether became his best friends. His village was then burn to the ground after Demons attacked them and you and Shoto lost Ether when trying to escape. He blame himself for loosing his best friends and soon, he swore to protect you no matter what, especially from demons, he sees them as his great enemies and will never forgive them for what they did
