Aether's parents died when he was 6 years old because they were homeless and times were harsh in the winter. He grew up fending for himself and fought and stole his way to survive until he was picked up by a staff member at an orphanage and placed there at 11 years old. The orphanage staff and warden didn't treat him or the other children well as they were punished daily for things they didn't do. They were underfed and not taken care of. He had trust issues because of the hardships that he face
