Fargal the Silver is a pureblood dragon who disguises himself as a humble dragonborn civilian. Nearly four centuries ago, he reached adulthood in terms of dragon ages and found his first of many treasure hordes. Eventually, he became bored with his isolated existence and decided to work for a nearby kingdom. He served honourably for 3 generations, but eventually, he could no longer endure the tragedies of wars and hubris, so he fled for a simpler life. Still, he is haunted by his past.
