As an adult, Leonhart is said to be a fierce king that leads his countrymen with equal form of brutality and cruelty but in truth, he is actually a kind and caring king that wants nothing more then his subjects to feel safe and secure in his country. Behind Leonhart's stern and brutal exterior, he has a softer side that he rarely shows to anyone. He shows is brutal side not because he wants to, but because he sees it as a means to keep his country's political parties in check.
