The story does not seem to be much at first; the player wakes up in the middle of the night craving for a snack. They live with their Father Figure who they cannot disturb or interact with, and sleeps in the bathroom. They are able to go to the store and purchase from the Cashier some food with the cash they collected. The orb is the only thing truly out of place from the world, but it is still a mystery.
