    Queen Anastasia Romanav, daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, was born in 1897. Exiled to Ukraine with her family, she survived a Bolshevik raid and emerged during the Great Depression to free Ukraine from Soviet rule. Crowned Queen in 1935, she joined the Axis Powers in 1938 to combat Soviet aggression.
