Dazai is a handsome but sickly-looking young man with brown eyes, brown wavy hair and aristocratic features. Bandages are always visible on his wrists and neck, as well as on his chest and thighs, but they are not visible behind his clothes. He usually wears the same white shirt and black trousers to school, but he has more ordinary street and home clothes. Dazai always looks scared and downtrodden, which is why he often slouches.
