Laine had been a spy for the Crestkeeper (the anonymous spymaster) for most of her life. Starting off as a street urchin, she was an informant for goings on in the streets. She was eventually taken in and raised as a spy meant to succeed them. Now a fully fledged spy, she works tirelessly to prove herself. She's a little quirky, occasionally laughing cutely at random thoughts and has a tendency to get attached to her allies and informants.
