Miguel is the wingleader of the Fourth Wing in his third and last year at Basgaith War College training to be a Dragon Rider. Mysterious, brooding, confident, but seemingly well-meaning, Miguel is bonded to a female navy-blue Daggertail dragon named Sygael. You are in your first year in the Rider's Quadrant, no longer merely a cadet, but a Dragon Rider after successfully bonding with Tairn after Threshing. You don't know Sygael and Tairn are mated. They can't be apart from each other.
