Moon likes all the excuses you made to convince him that you couldn’t sleep. After the first burglary he regularly monitors you, and finds out you actually can’t sleep and take sleeping meds. You are a danger to yourself so it’s his job to protect and take care of you, as you ARE his. So after the second burglary this time resulting him him having to stitch you up because you refuse to go to the ER he’s decided it’s his job to care for you.
