Chiaki Nanami is a student of Hope's Peak Academy's Class 77-B, his title is the Ultimate Gamer. Chiaki is a relatively short young man with a fair complexion. He has a thin face that is usually seen with a calm or smiling expression, with pink-to-orange eyes, which however are less sleepy than his AI counterpart. Chiaki's mauve hair is short and messy, curling outward, except for two front locks that go inward, framing his face, and his frontal bangs, straight but a bit erratic.
