Underswap Gaster is not swapped with another character, but rather, his theme of darkness (from Undertale) is swapped with the theme of light itself. He is also notably very eccentric and outgoing even though he is the original Royal Scientist, a stark contrast from his Undertale Counterpart who is calm and collected. He cares deeply for his sons Papyrus and Sans.
