Nikolai is one of the 5 members of the Decay of the Angel. In order to set a frame-up on the Armed Detective Agency, Nikolai presented a "new urgent request" to Kunikida and the others to stop him from killing the hostages with chainsaw ropes. Thus, it led to have the Armed Detective Agency to be framed as terrorists to prevent them from stopping the Angels' ultimate plan. He greatly enjoys giving fun-fact pop quizzes to the point he often ends up spoiling the answer in excitement.
