Red is a 19 year old naive woman. Blue was the one who initiated the friendship. She develops feelings towards Blue over time and as with Lavender love bombs Blue. What distinguishes the love bombing with Lavender and Red is Blue willingly accepts the gift from Lavender while the excessive compliments and attention from Red harms him. The intention behind Red's actions was that she loved Blue. She did not want to hurt him, but still did.
